Kate Miller-Heidke se convierte en la abanderada de Australia para Eurovisión 2019.
Australia regresa al festival de la canción tras celebrar, por primera vez en su historia en el certamen, una final nacional. ‘Australia Decides’ fue el formato elegido por la cadena pública australiana para escoger a su representante.

Enfundada en un enorme vestido plateado y acompañada por una acróbata que se contonea detrás de la intérprete, Miller-Heidke se alzaba como ganadora con el apoyo unánime de público y jurado. Tras ella, quedaban en segunda posición propuestas como las de Electric Fields o Sheppard, segunda y tercer clasificados respectivamente.
Según informa el portal de noticias eurovisión-spain, la artista estaría modificando la puesta en escena tras las críticas recibidas en redes sociales. De esta forma, la sucesora de Jessica Mauboy ofrecería un espectáculo distinto al que vimos en el ‘Australia Decides’.
El tema
El tema, que combina el estilo pop con la lírica, no ha sido muy bien acogido por las casas de apuestas. Por el momento, tendremos que esperar para saber si Australia se hace con un hueco para la final del certamen europeo.
